October 2nd to October 4th at DR/Danish Broadcasting Company
Designers, developers, storytellers, UX and concept developers, journalists, art historians, students, artists, historians and all other techies.
We invite YOU ALL to take part in this year’s unique cultural heritage hackathon event in Denmark. Hack4dk is all about finding new ways of using our cultural heritage through the power of API’s, webservices and mashups.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
A chance to play with open cultural data, such as images, maps, aerial photos, listed buildings, films and artworks and spend some fun hours with fellow developers and creative people.
We offer a great venue at DR, exciting data and free food and drinks – and a place to throw your sleeping bag.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR US?
We want to demonstrate the value of open cultural data, the power of informal collaborations and to create a space for creativity around our digital collections.
You bring an open mindset, the will to invent, co-create and share ideas – and your toothbrush and a sleeping bag.
Save the date NOW and be ready to register on http://hack4dk2015.eventbrite.com from the 15th of August. Please note that there are limited tickets available.
