Hack your culture!
Join us for this year’s cultural hackathon event #HACK4DK in Copenhagen. Through the power of open data, creative reuse and playful engagement we want to create new usage of heritage collections and our cultural spaces.
#HACK4DK 2016 will take place at The Agency for Culture and Palaces in Copenhagen where you will hear exciting and inspiring ignite talks. Then we hit the Danish cultural heritage, artworks and other artifacts of historic interest, open data, all found in our archives, libraries and museums.
We have exciting locations, exhibitions, research and knowledge providers and we host a major part of Denmark’s cultural treasures!
You have great ideas, new perspectives, a critical eye and a desire to experiment and build new stuff together with others sharing the same urge to create new things.
This year we offer the possibility of competing in our Hack4Norden challenge, and win a trip to Helsinki and Slush festival, where you will pitch your project to investors and engineers from 100 countries. To enter the competition you will have to work within the sphere of Nordic culture or data. See more about the criteria and slush, or participate in our pre-event to learn more.
